Outstanding Undergraduate Academic Advising Awards
The Outstanding Undergraduate Academic Advising Awards are presented annually to recognize individuals who have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate academic advising. There are two categories: Outstanding Undergraduate Academic Advisor-Primary Role and Outstanding Academic Advisor-Faculty Role. The Primary Role recognizes a staff or academic faculty member whose primary role is academic advising; the Faculty Role recognizes an academic or research faculty member who has a significant academic advising responsibility. One award can be made for each Role, and is in the amount of $2000. The awards are presented at the Faculty & Staff Honors Luncheon in April.
Nomination packets are due by close of business on 8 February 2019. Self-nomination is encouraged. Nominations are limited to permanent employees who have a minimum of two years of service at Georgia Tech.
