De’Angelo earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Juvenile Law and his Master of Communications degree from Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, MO. Before coming to Georgia Tech, he worked in Finance for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. His time there prepared him for a career in Academia which started in April 2015.

De’Angelo, currently serves as Tech’s first Transfer Success Advisor where he will advise and assist transfer students.  In addition to his role, he is an Academic Coach and GT1000/2000 Instructor of the Year.
